Katie Crank, LCSW, perinatal & postpartum in Bloomfield, NJ

Everyone told you this would be the happiest time of your life. So why do you feel anxious, flat, rageful, or like you're disappearing? The truth is that pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood are some of the biggest identity shifts a human can go through, and they can be lonely as hell.

I'm a Perinatal Mental Health-Certified (PMH-C) therapist, which means I have specialized training in exactly this season. I offer perinatal and postpartum therapy in Bloomfield, NJ and online across New Jersey, for the part of new parenthood nobody photographs.

Questions about perinatal & postpartum

Still wondering about something? The free consult is the perfect place to ask.

What does PMH-C mean?

PMH-C stands for Perinatal Mental Health Certified, a credential from Postpartum Support International showing specialized training in the mental health of pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Is it normal to feel this way after having a baby?

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders affect up to 1 in 5 birthing people. What you're feeling is common, it's not your fault, and it's very treatable.

Can my partner be involved?

Yes. Partners can be deeply affected too, and when it's helpful I'm glad to include them in the work.

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Book a free 15-minute consultation. No pressure, no commitment, just a chance to see if working together feels right.
